Welcome to Aileba, a digital platform developed to connect workers with individuals or organizations seeking services. By using our website or platform (“Aileba”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definition
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Aileba” refers to the platform operated by Aileba Foundation/Waisei Digital.
- “User/Client” refers to individuals or companies seeking services through Aileba.
- “Worker/Provider” refers to individuals offering services through Aileba (e.g., domestic helpers, babysitters, cleaners, construction workers, gardeners, technicians, etc.).
- “Services” refers to any work provided by workers and booked through the Aileba platform.
2. Role of Aileba
Aileba is a platform only. We:
✔ connect workers and clients
✔ provide tools for job posting, communication, and hiring
❌ We are not the employer, agent, or supervisor of workers.
Clients are responsible for selecting, managing, and paying workers directly.
3. User & Worker Responsibilities
3.1 Responsibilities of Clients
Clients must:
- Provide accurate information when posting jobs.
- Agree on work details, payment, and schedule directly with the worker.
- Treat workers professionally and respectfully.
- Comply with national labor, health, and safety laws.
3.2 Responsibilities of Workers
Workers must:
- Submit accurate information about skills and experience.
- Perform work honestly and responsibly.
- Respect client property and instructions.
- Comply with community and safety standards.
4. Payments
- Payments are agreed directly between the client and worker.
- Aileba does not employ workers, and therefore, is not responsible for wages, benefits, or disputes regarding fees.
- If Aileba offers a premium service (e.g., Certified Workers, Hotline Support, Managed Hiring), fees will be clearly displayed before purchase.
5. Background Checks & Verification
Aileba may:
- review basic documentation
- conduct simple screening
However, we do not guarantee identity or skill accuracy. Users must conduct their own due diligence.
6. Ratings & Reviews
Users may provide honest ratings and reviews.
Aileba reserves the right to remove inappropriate, abusive, fraudulent, or defamatory reviews.
7. Safety and Liability
Aileba is not responsible for:
- damages caused by workers or clients
- theft, loss, injury, or property damage
- delays, cancellations, or poor work quality
Users agree that any dispute between them must be resolved directly.
We may assist with mediation but are not legally obligated to do so.
8. Prohibited Activities
On Aileba, you are not allowed to:
- Provide false information or fraudulent identity
- Recruit workers outside the platform for exploitation
- Use discriminatory, abusive, or illegal practices
- Post inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
Violation may lead to suspension or legal action.
9. Privacy
Aileba collects basic data to improve service quality.
We will not sell or share personal data without consent, except where required by law.

Users and workers must comply with laws of Timor-Leste including:
- Labor regulations
- Consumer protection
- Criminal, safety, and community laws
